Active and fit in Verdinserhof

Here are just some of the fun and relaxing activities Verdinserhof organises for you! Tab

Hiking

Hiking in South Tyrol is pure pleasure - a beautiful mountain landscape with an extraordinary panoramic view. The incredible location of Verdinser Hof is the ideal starting point for unforgettable hikes of the surrounding mountains. The Hirzer and Ifinger peaks await climbers, while the Untermaiserwaal is a paradise for hikers and for those who just want an enjoyable walk with awe-inspiring views– and these are just a few of the hiking opportunities. Marvel at the awesome panoramas, while rustic alpine huts invite you to stop and gather your strength or try a “piece of South Tyrol”. A small hiking tip from Goethe seems appropriate here:”Only where you have been on foot, you have really been.”

1-2 guided hikes a week

We will gladly accompany you on your journey in the beautiful mountains of South Tyrol. To show you the most beautiful routes, we organize guided excursions 1-2 times a week, organised in association with the Scena Tourist Association.

Our hiking tip: The Alps near Hirzer

Take the Verdins-Tall cable car to Oberkirn, and from there take the chairlift to the Grube mountain inn. From there you can reach the Staffelhütte in about 20 minutes, slightly uphill. The beautiful and almost flat circular path to Gasthof Klammeben begins here. From there to Hirzerhütte and Resseggeralm and on to Mahdalm via Hintereggeralm, and from there, slightly descending to Gampenalm where an almost flat forest path takes you back to Gasthof Grube.

All the hikes of the Hirzer program are well marked and allow you to enjoy unforgettable experiences in an environment of extraordinary beauty.
